Yesterday I was in the checkout line at Sprouts.  I wasn’t paying much attention to the conversation between the check out guy and the customer in front of me until I heard check out guy say “I love this bread!”.  I took notice of what kind of bread he was referring to.  It was a great bread – Oroweat Oatnut.  Yum! My Hygiene Product Stock Up

So, is the fact that I say ‘hygiene products’ instead of ‘personal care’ products a total Social Worker thing?  Do other people call them this or is it just SWer speak? I really enjoy coupons.  It’s like FREE MONEY.  To avoid using coupons is a travesty, but I also think using coupons to extreme and stockpiling food you’re never going to use is also a travesty.  I’ve tried to find a sweet spot with using coupons – not too much, not too little.  Just enough to save a decent amount of money on items I need or want. This weekend I went to my cell phone carrier’s store to see what phones were available to get free when I renew my contract.  My contract just came up due and I had hoped to make my phone last a little longer, but unfortunately the processor in it is going to pot.  I found one phone that was $50 with a $50 mail in rebate.  Didn’t take me long to decide.* *I had also done my research before hand, so I wasn’t going in blind.  It is actually a pretty good phone. I always feel like I’m the last to know stuff.  The news that Dollar Tree accepts manufacturer’s coupons is no exception.  Where the heck was I back in August when this news came out? Since The Mister and I got back into town on Monday evening, we’ve neglected to sit down and make a grocery list.  Instead we’ve been mainly eating out of the cabinets, with an occasional trip to the grocery store to see if we can score some clearance meats. I’m sure I’ve written about my love of the grocery store clearance section before.  I had to.  Well, perhaps I haven’t.  I’ve blogged about it in my head a million times.  That counts, right?
