Weekly Money Check-Up 6.25.12

Weekly Money Check-Up is a series by My Pretty Pennies. 1. The most I’ve spent this last week was on dentistry. I hadn’t been to the dentist in 3 year (eek!) because frankly I hate the world of dentistry and all their tools of torture.  Because I avoided the dentist for so long I have 7 (!) cavities! Ugh.  I got three of them filled to the tune of $300 +. 2. Today I am thankful for all the wonderful fire fighters in Colorado working so hard, in such crazy heat to save homes, forests and this beautiful state. 3. … Keep on reading —->

Today I am thankful for the rain we’ve had in the last couple of days.  Colorado has been super dry so we needed the moisture! 3. Money can’t buy happiness. Weekly Money Check-Up is a series by My Pretty Pennies 1. The most I’ve spent this last week was on a Camelbak.  I’ve vied for one for YEARS, but never bought one for various reasons.  I had used The Mister’s old knock off hydration pack for the last couple of years, but the water doesn’t taste right and I noticed a few holes in the backpack part of it.  It was time I get my own; after much comparison shopping, I settled on this style for $54 & free shipping. 2. Today I am thankful for my sturdy legs that get me … Keep on reading —->
